Ok so get this - Manchester police wanted to highlight the difficulty they face in their city by putting all their 911 calls on their Twitter feed.
The result - 3,205 calls in just 24 hours.
They ranged from the serious, to the not so serious. The main purpose of the exercise was to show how strapped down the police force is in the city. This all arrived one week prior to possible budget cuts to their police force, and a possible cut back of 25 per cent.
This is just another innovation through social media, and with this the Manchester police hopes to see more funding so they can better serve their city.
How about that, eh?
